The G20 Took An Oath To Develop Responsible Artificial Intelligence

AI Research & Development in G20G20: Took An Oath To Develop “Responsible Artificial Intelligence”

During the recent G20 summit in India, a proposal was made to create regulations for artificial intelligence by the inventors and manufacturers of AI.

In this regard, respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi emphasized the need to formulate rules for artificial intelligence while keeping the benefits to humanity in mind.

This demand was raised by the creators and innovators of artificial intelligence, who also urged political leaders to establish specific regulations for it.

It was also agreed that the rules governing artificial intelligence would be transparent, ensuring privacy and data security. It is essential, considering the rapid progress of artificial intelligence, to ensure that it is not misused for economic development and expansion and that it remains focused on the welfare of humanity and public interest.

There was consensus to encourage cooperation on all fronts, including international management and discussions, to work together to ensure that AI is used for the common good. Responsible, inclusive, and human-centered approaches should address challenges, protect people’s rights and security, and ensure transparency, accountability, regulation, and data security.

It was emphasized that countries should strive to share information about ways to use AI to support digital economic solutions and follow a pro-innovation regulatory/governance approach that takes into account the risks associated with AI while maximizing its benefits. Responsible AI development will be promoted.
